Catering Assistant Full-Time
Sidney Sussex College, is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant reporting to the Hall Manager. This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within a professional catering operation at the forefront of raising the overall standards of the food and service to the highest level.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering a high standard of customer care. Applicants should have a friendly flexible working attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills.
This is a permanent, full-time post averaging 40 hours per week which will normally be worked across a 2 week shift system including evening and weekend working. There is a need for flexibility to meet unpredictable operational demands on the College. The salary is £27,976 gross per annum.
Availability is required for the rota set out below.

Benefits include an annual leave entitlement of 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays; a contributory pension scheme provided by the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), free College meals when on duty and free College gym. The College is also closed over the Christmas period.
