Amica Care Trust is looking for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team, helping to deliver nutritious, well-presented food and beverages to our residents each day. In this rewarding role, you will play an important part in providing excellent customer service to residents, relatives and visitors, supporting independence, choice and dignity while working in line with our Trust values. From assisted living to specialist dementia care, our welcoming services are focused on making a positive difference to those we support.

The Role and Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents' nutritional wellbeing by helping to prepare and serve meals and drinks.
  • Ensure residents' dietary needs are met, including texture-modified meals where required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, stock rotation and kitchen records.

About You:

  • Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential.
  • A food handling qualification would be desirable.
  • You will have good judgement, problem-solving skills and a positive approach.
  • You should be a clear communicator and team player who shares our values and takes pride in your work.
