Whether you are helping families onto pedalos, welcoming guests at our ticket hut, serving up smiles in our coffee shop or helping keep our 133-acre site clean and tidy, no two shifts will ever be the same!

With the freedom of picking up shifts using our easy app and the opportunity to gain skills across numerous departments, this is the perfect role for anyone who loves variety, teamwork, and the great outdoors!

The starting pay scale for new staff begins at £7.55, and will vary in accordance with the national minimum wage. All staff are required to undergo an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check in accordance with safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

As a

Casual Team Member, you’ll have the chance to work across several departments, making every shift different and rewarding. Depending on where you’re needed, your day might include:

Deliver memorable experiences by helping run front-line activities such as pedalos, caving, or indoor Clip ‘n Climb.

Assist with set-up and pack-down of areas as needed.

Welcome Centre & Ticket Hut:

Greet visitors with a smile, handle bookings and enquiries, and assist with admissions.

Provide excellent customer service and accurate information about activities and site facilities.

Cleaning & Site Support:

Help maintain high cleanliness standards across our 133-acre site.

Help reset and prepare accommodation areas for the next group of visitors, keeping everything clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Coffee Shop & Dining Marquee :

Prepare and serve food and drinks while maintaining great customer service.

Keep the café area tidy and welcoming for guests.

Serve meals to our residential guests — sometimes up to 300 people — ensuring everyone has a great dining experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Friendly and confident when dealing with families and children
• Reliable, flexible, and happy to work outdoors in all weather
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• No previous experience required – full training provided

Situated in 130 acres of idyllic ground in rural Upminster, Stubbers Adventure Centre offers a great variety of adventure activities for School & Youth Groups, Children & Families and Adult & Corporate. Stubbers has the largest amount of onsite activities available in the South East where you can take part in adventurous activities such as Paddle Boarding or 4x4 Driving.
