Being a Bank Nurse with Brandon is about bringing an opportunity for freedom and fulfilment into the lives of people with different abilities. 

The support we provide is centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs. This includes developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs. In this role You will stand in for the staff nurse on an ad hoc basis, managing the support workers and support the health needs of the individuals. 

Working in a welcoming, friendly nursing home, you’ll have flexibility and access to shifts that work for you including sleep-ins. You'll help to inspire the team to ensure the people we support get the very best out of life.

You will:  

• Have a nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN or RGN)
• Be confident and calm under pressure.
• Have experience working with people with a learning disability.
• Be flexible, open to a challenge and innovative in your approach.
• Have clinical expertise or be willing to learn and undertake relevant clinical skills
• Being able to drive and be willing to use your own transport on Brandon business is desirable

Your responsibilities:  

• You’ll provide specialist nursing and be a role model in the delivery of directsupportto people with a learning disability.
• Be involved in the day-to-day organisation of the work of thesupportteam so that people receive the right amount ofsupportat the right time at theagreedlevel.
