Bede's Trust is currently looking to appoint a reliable and punctual Casual Minibus Driver to join our Transport Team,
As a member of the Transport Department, you will be transporting pupils to and from school in accordance with the planned time table and agreed routes. Additionally, you will transport pupils to sporting fixtures, airports, activities and school trips. You will be responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of pupils whilst on or around vehicles, and you will need to drive and operate vehicles in accordance with current legislation and the schools policies and procedures at all times.
The successful applicant will need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as be a confident, polite, and organised individual, who provides the highest levels of driver behaviour and safety.
The applicant will need to hold a valid driving licence Category D1 and have a good knowledge of the local road network. You will also need to have a recent eye test result within the last 3 months.Work will be offered on an ad-hoc basis according to the school’s requirements.
Offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.60
