  • As our Food & Beverage Assistant you will work as part of the F&B team, responsible for providing guests with food & beverage across the outlets/premises.


    This will include both the delivery of the daily F&B offer in our cafes/canteens etc., and in delivery of catering for commercial hire events (sandwich lunches, buffets, canape receptions, Gala dinners etc.)

    You will be responsible for delivering consistently high standards of both food and beverage and customer service.

    You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety, allergen, and health and safety processes, policies and procedures, completing all training and paperwork as required.

    This role is part of the Food & Beverage team and is line managed by the Food & Beverage Supervisor team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Providing guests with a consistently high-quality food and beverage offer

    Delivery of consistently excellent standards of customer service

    Preparing, producing and serving a range of food and beverage, and assisting in the service of functions and events at the designated premises as required

    Undertaking baking and/or cooking duties in line with the Food & Beverage Supervisor’s requirements, accurately following recipes provided

    Assisting guests with queries and requests

    Completion of allocated tasks in line with departmental processes and procedures, as directed by the Food & Beverage Supervisor

    Adherence to all relevant legislation and regulation at all times, including food safety and health and safety. This to include the completion of all required food safety paperwork

    Ensuring correct standards of food preparation, handling and storage are maintained, conforming to all current legislation

    By maintaining, at all times, the standard of cleanliness within the F&B outlet(s) in accordance with Amgueddfa Cymru’s hygiene regulations and by maintaining hygiene records as required

    Maximising sales opportunities through upselling and promotion, and achieving KPI targets
