An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the growing Food and Beverage team here at WMC. With a number of bars operating at any one time, we are proud to create memorable experiences for our visitors and bring energy and creativity to everything we do.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and enjoys making a positive impact on each guest’s experience.

From our café/bar and Ffwrnais to Teras, where we champion the very best in Welsh produce, through to vibrant evenings at Cabaret, there is something for everyone at WMC — with even more exciting developments planned for later this year.

As a venue, we operate seven days a week, every day except Christmas Day. Our Food & Beverage department has seen significant development in recent months, with the introduction of three new bars, each with its own identity, service style, and offer, creating exciting opportunities for growth.

We have something for everyone — whether it’s a relaxed drink at one of our bars or a lively evening at Cabaret. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and welcoming space, committed to delivering exceptional experiences for all our visitors.

As a Casual Bartender, you will be expected to bring an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused approach to delivering excellent bar service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and may be required to work across different areas of the Food and Beverage department as needed.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, with knowledge of drink preparation techniques and equipment (desirable)
  • Ensure all commercial areas are well-presented, clean, and visually appealing at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer service by recognising and responding to individual guest needs, in line with Food and Beverage Standard Operating Procedures, taking ownership of allocated events and shifts
