As a Casual Bar Assistant, you will help with the smooth day to day running of the College Bar, providing friendly and professional service to students, staff and visitors. You will prepare and serve a range of drinks, operate the till system accurately and help create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for customers.
You will keep the bar and cellar areas clean, organised and well stocked, assist with deliveries and stock rotation, and complete routine cleaning and safety checks. You will also follow the College’s procedures on responsible alcohol service, age verification, allergens, food hygiene, health and safety and the safe use of cleaning products.
Working closely with the Bar Manager, Bar Supervisor and the wider Catering and Hospitality team, you will support busy services and respond positively to changing operational needs. No previous bar experience is required, as full training will be provided, but you should be friendly, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable working as part of a team.
