Job Introduction

Casual Bank Enterprise Assistant 

We are looking for flexible and reliable Casual Bank Enterprise Assistants to support our Enterprise services, primarily based at Elm Tree Farm, with flexibility to work across other Brandon Enterprise sites as required.

This is a bank role offering varied and flexible hours. 

You will support the day-to-day running of Enterprise services and work alongside people with learning disabilities, supporting them to develop skills, confidence and opportunities in a welcoming, inclusive and practical working environment.

This role requires flexibility to work across different sites and environments, sometimes at short notice, including outdoor and farm-based settings.

Key Information

• Pay:£12.71 per hour
• Hours:Varied, flexible bank shifts
• Location:Primarily Elm Tree Farm, with flexibility to support across Brandon Enterprises

About You

You will be:

• Flexible, reliable and positive in your approach
• Comfortable working in a farm-based environment, including outdoors in all weathers
• Physically fit, with the ability to undertake manual handling, lifting and physically active tasks
• Confident working safely around animals, including handling and restraint where required
• Interested in working across all five Elm Tree Farm (ETF) teams:

Farm Shop

Animal Care

Nursery

Market Gardens

Woodwork / Carpentry

• Able to communicate clearly and report any concerns to line managers
• Aware of safe working practices, including health & safety and manual handling
• Willing to undertake service-specific Epilepsy training

Previous experience in customer-facing, operational, farm or enterprise roles is desirable but not essential.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Level 2 Maths and English qualifications (or the ability to demonstrate this through assessment) are required.

Your Role

You will:

• Support the day-to-day running of Enterprise services
• Work alongside people with learning disabilities, supporting them to develop skills and confidence
• Assist with operational tasks, site checks and maintaining high standards
• Support safe working practices across farm and enterprise environments
• Work flexibly across Elm Tree Farm and other Brandon Enterprise sites to meet service needs
• Report any health & safety, welfare or safeguarding concerns promptly to line managers
