Casual Aquatic Helper

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Larkfield Leisure Centre team on a casual basis. Hours will be available as and when required, with a range of shifts available throughout the centres operating hours.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and helping to create a safe, enjoyable experience for all pool users. A key part of the role is supervising the pool slides and controlling entry to bathers, ensuring that all users follow safety procedures and can enjoy the facilities safely at all times.

You will also assist with the preparation of wet sports facilities, support the safe use of equipment, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and help with the delivery of centre activities and events.

We’re looking for applicants who have excellent communication and customer service skills, are enthusiastic, friendly and reliable, and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the leisure industry. For candidates who demonstrate commitment, reliability and a strong focus on customer safety, there may be future opportunities to undertake National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) training or Swim Teacher training.
