  • Providing advice and advocacy on welfare, housing, health and asylum support.
  • Coordinating emergency provisions like hardship payments, hygiene packs and hot meals.
  • Supporting and managing volunteers to deliver high-quality casework services.
  • Building relationships with external partners to ensure holistic support for service users.
  • Experience delivering casework advocacy to vulnerable clients, ideally within refugee or asylum contexts.
  • Strong communication skills, including working with interpreters and diverse communities.
  • The ability to manage volunteers and work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of asylum seekers’ rights and entitlements, and how to advocate effectively.
  • Be able to travel in and around the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas.
