Caring Dads Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner

  • Salary:£26,736 – £30,079 per annum (Band level 6)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver the globally recognised Caring Dads programme, an evidence-based intervention designed to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

As a Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be part of the Pathways to Change service, working alongside Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioners to support families affected by domestic abuse. Your role will involve:

  • Delivering the Caring Dads programme through group work and one-to-one support.
  • Conducting treatment and risk assessments of domestic abuse perpetrators.
  • Managing cases and risks for families living with domestic abuse.
  • Promoting the service to social work teams across Hampshire and Southampton
  • Co-locating into social work teams to provide advice and identify suitable families for the programme.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in trauma-informed practice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings to deliver interventions and co-locate across Hampshire.
