Nestled in the Tame Valley, our residential community is home for up to 26 people at any one time. Our residents have a home, a purpose and a chance to make a real contribution to their community.
About the role
As Café Coordinator, you will work alongside the Catering Manager to help deliver a friendly, well-organised café service on Saturdays.
You will coordinate the day-to-day activities of companions and volunteers working in the Café, helping to organise tasks, support people in their roles and maintain a welcoming environment for everyone who visits.
Through encouragement, patience and clear communication, you will help companions gain practical catering and customer service experience while contributing to the smooth running of one of Emmaus Mossley’s busiest trading days.
The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable taking responsibility and remains calm when the Café is busy.
