Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Business Systems Change Manager to join our Finance & Corporate Services Directorate.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in one of Centrepoint’s most ambitious transformation programmes — ensuring our people, systems and culture evolve together to deliver lasting impact for young people.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
About the role
Reporting into the Senior Programme Manager (Big Change Programme), you’ll lead how change is understood, adopted and embedded across Centrepoint.
This isn’t just about systems — it’s about people, behaviours and culture.
You’ll work at the heart of our digital transformation, ensuring:
- Change is clearly understood across the organisation
- Leaders are equipped to champion new ways of working
- Systems are successfully adopted and embedded long-term
- Our People & Culture strategy is fully integrated into change delivery
You’ll act as the bridge between technical delivery and human impact, turning strategy into practical, meaningful change across teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading change readiness and impact assessments across multiple business areas
- Designing and delivering change management plans, including communications, training and engagement
- Partnering with People, Finance, Procurement, Communications and PMO teams
- Supporting the adoption of new systems and ways of working (including Microsoft tools)
- Coaching leaders to act as visible change champions
- Monitoring adoption, tracking success metrics and reporting progress
- Driving long-term behavioural and cultural change aligned to Centrepoint values
- Supporting post-implementation reviews and benefits realisation
About you
You’re someone who can connect strategy, systems and people.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading organisational change in complex programmes (ideally digital or systems transformation)
- Strong stakeholder management skills — confident influencing at senior level
- Experience delivering end-to-end change plans (impact, communications, training and adoption)
- A structured approach (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR or similar)
- Experience working across cross-functional teams and programme environments
- Ability to translate complex change into clear, practical actions
- A collaborative, pragmatic mindset with a focus on sustainable change
Why join Centrepoint?
In return for your efforts you’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent training and development, and a host of staff benefits including:
- 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
- Healthcare cash plan (covering a wide range of medical treatments including dental, optical, complementary and alternative therapies)
- Private medical insurance
- Income protection
- Employer pension contributions of 5%
- Access to Cycle 2 Work loan scheme
- An interest-free travel loan
At Centrepoint we challenge the discrimination within society that contributes to youth homelessness, and we are just as committed to fairness and equality within Centrepoint itself. We are passionate about ensuring all of our colleagues feel included and that we value the rich diversity within the organisation.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
Hybrid working
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g. two days one week and three days the next).
Our approach to applications
We recognise that candidates may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support their applications. While this is absolutely fine, all examples and statements included in your application must be truthful, accurate and based on your own experience.
We’re keen to understand your individual skills, experience and motivations, so please ensure your application reflects your own voice. Applications that do not accurately represent your experience may not be progressed.
