Business / Functional Skills Tutor
Midlands ETS has been providing Education and Employment services to young people aged 16 to 24 in Birmingham for the last 15 years and the service has grown in size over this time.
Due to Midlands ETS continuing to grow, we are excited to announce that we are now looking for a tutor who is able to deliver both Business and Functional Skills, who has a passion for helping young people aged 16 to 24 be successful in education. This is a full tome role work term time only over 42 weeks of the year.
This role would be based in our Centre at Hedingham Grove, Chelmunds Cross, Birmingham, which we deliver Study Programme and Apprenticeships.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Admin & Functional Skills Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment for Business Adminstration Level 1 and 2. The successful candidate will need to have the following:
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent) - essential.
- Minimum of Level 2 in both English and Maths
- Some Business Administration background
- Previous experience as a tutor delivering functional skills and/or Business Administration
- Evidence of working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and have Educational Health Care Plans
- Experience of working with young people aged 16 to 25
- Enjoys working in a team environment
