The Role

We're looking for a full time, experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Events Business Development Manager for a fixed term, 3 year contract to join our busy income-generating events team.
This role focuses predominantly on growing the events business across our new portfolio: V&A East Storehouse, V&A East Museum, while also driving new business for Young V&A and V&A South Kensington. This is a rare opportunity to build a new commercial events audience for our new venues, while maximising yield across the wider group. The Commercial Events team sits within the Development department and run over 160 events a year, bringing in unrestricted income of over £2.2 million a year. You will use your experience to research new markets and identify new clients for the V&A’s burgeoning events portfolio, enjoying proactive sales pitches and target orientated work.
