What we’re looking for
The successful candidates will bring:
· Strong skills in one-to-one communication, recruitment and organising
· Experience in campaigning and motivating others
· The ability to inspire confidence and build relationships across diverse workplaces
· An understanding of trade unionism and UNISON’s values
· Previous experience as a recruiter, organiser, or campaigner (desirable but not essential)
Location
· R7/BSOF22T: vacancy within the Glasgow Organising team, based in the Glasgow office.
Travel
· You will be based at our Glasgow office but you will be expected to travel through the region with particular focus within Ayrshire and Arran.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible with their working hours. Reaching members can be challenging during “office hours” so the successful candidate may be required to work in the evening, early mornings and occasionally at weekends.
