Brand Marketing Manager (12 month maternity cover)

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) is actively hiring for a Brand Marketing Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Salary

The salary for this position is £43994.00 per annum and this position is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. 

Since launching our brand refresh, we’re on a journey to amplify and grow brand marketing to help supercharge our growth ambitions. We need a passionate brand marketer to:

  • Lead and/or support the planning and delivery of brand marketing activity, from briefing through to evaluation.
  • Manage the brand and embed it across teams, channels and partner touchpoints to build a consistent audience experience.
  • Champion the brand and build organisational understanding of how the brand is applied, communicated and measured.
  • Support fundraising teams to shape and deliver campaigns and activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in developing and delivering the charity’s integrated brand marketing activity, working closely with the wider Brand Marketing and Brand teams, other internal and external stakeholders, the hospital and agencies as appropriate:
  • Lead and/or support with the project management of this activity to ensure delivery is on time and budget (there will be whole projects that you own and are responsible for).
  • Ensure any brand activity is an effective representation of our brand strategy and identity to the external world and has audience insight at its heart.
  • Evaluate and share actionable learnings to optimise future campaigns.
  • Champion the brand within the charity and hospital. Work with charity fundraising teams to ensure campaigns, activity and communications that are developed are ‘on-brand’ and rooted in the brand strategy and narrative.
  • Demonstrate the value of the brand to the organisation by helping to create tracking methods and measurement of our brand. Use data from various research sources and analyse it to elicit useful and actionable brand insight for the whole organisation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Lead and project manage business-critical projects and manage complex stakeholders, ensuring maximum engagement on projects, facilitating collaborative and efficient decision making.
  • Lead and plan the brand internal communications calendar. Helping to ensure teams across the organisation are continually aware and onboarded on brand-related updates, news and best practice examples.
  • Overseeing the awards calendar
  • Spot and maximise brand building opportunities across the organisation and lead on bringing these to life.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience leading brand marketing campaigns and activity
  • Experience managing a brand.
  • Experience implementing and rolling out a refreshed brand internally and externally.
  • Ability to develop strategic brand marketing and campaign plans based on audience research and insight.
  • Experience developing brand tracking, brand measurement and data analysis to create actionable brand insights.
  • Ability to provide strategic marketing integration advice for fundraising campaigns.
  • Ability to juggle multiple workstreams at once.
  • Experience managing agency relationships.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional relationship builder.
  • Line management experience.
