Our recruitment journey - key dates for you to note:

We believe in transparency and a stress-free experience. Here is a quick look at what you can expect.

Application

Please attach your CV & Cover letter outlining your experience and interest for the role to give us a sense of your experience, skills, and potential. Don't worry if you don't tick every box - what really matters is what you can bring to the role and the team.

Virtual Panel Interview

If your application hits the mark, we'll invite you to attend a virtual interview via google meeting. You'll sit down with the Hiring Manager, a member of the HR team, and another member of the team for a competency based interview.

As our Branch Development Support you will play a vital role in ensuring the day to day operations of the team run smoothly. You'll lead on the reporting and administration, bringing our services together and overseeing grant and financial processes that keep our branches thriving.

Your day may include:

  • Collaboration and partnerships:You'll be the bridge between our regional teams, helping managers share ideas, coordinating training, and managing vital funds like the Branch Development Fund to ensure our branches have exactly what they need.
  • Standardisation and consistency:You'll help make life easier for our volunteers by creating simple toolkits and guides, using tech to work smarter, and making sure every branch across the network gets the same high quality support.
  • Data driven:You'll take the lead on making sense of the numbers, turning data into clear insights that help our teams spot risks, find new opportunities, and make great decisions for the future of the network.
  • Accountability and reporting:You'll keep everything moving by staying on top of your own projects, managing "lessons learnt" logs, and providing the clear updates that keep the whole Society informed and on track.

No two days are the same, it's hands-on, rewarding and sometimes tough, but always worth it!

Our vision is a world where all animals are respected and treated with kindness and compassion. Our purpose is to inspire everyone to create a better world for animals. We are building the future of a diverse Society, and our priority is to support animal welfare by finding people from all backgrounds who are committed to our purpose. For this reason we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications - in particular from members of minority ethnic groups, and people with disabilities - as these candidates are currently under-represented at the RSPCA. Your transferable skills & lived experiences could make you a valuable addition to our RSPCA Family!
