Virtual Panel Interview
If your application hits the mark, we'll invite you to attend a virtual interview via google meeting. You'll sit down with the Hiring Manager, another member of the team, and a member of the branch network for a competency based interview.
As our Branch Development Lead: Business Services, you will play a key role in making sure our branches have everything they need to run smoothly and stay strong. You'll be the expert hand guiding the business side of our network continuing to develop the guidance and resources to ensure our Branch network feels fully supported, legally compliant and safe.
Your day may include:
- Being the subject matter expert:You'll be the trusted expert for our branches, offering clear and practical advice on HR, finance, IT, and legal compliance. You'll lead on creating the training and toolkits that help our branches navigate challenges like financial pressures or new regulations, ensuring they stay strong and focused on their mission.
- Collaboration and partnerships:Working closely with Branch Account Managers and teams across the Society, you'll make sure our support is joined up and relevant. You'll build active networks where branches can share success stories and learn from one another, keeping everyone connected and aligned with our national strategy.
- Standardisation and consistency:You'll design the frameworks, templates, and digital tools that make branch life easier. By spotting ways to reduce duplication and making policies more accessible, you'll help every branch operate with confidence, fairness, and high-quality standards.
- Data driven:You'll turn data into a roadmap, spotting trends and identifying where we can improve. By sharing these insights clearly, you'll help the network anticipate future needs and ensure our decisions are always backed by solid evidence.
- Accountability and reporting:You'll take ownership of your projects, managing your priorities to focus on what matters most. By leading on internal and external reporting, you'll ensure our progress is accurately tracked and that we are constantly learning and improving the way we work.
No two days are the same, it's hands-on, rewarding and sometimes tough, but always worth it!
Essential
- Demonstrable strong professional experience in one of the following areas; HR, IT, finance, or legal, with demonstrable experience across at least two of the other areas.
- Experience creating resources, guidance and facilitating training sessions
- Able to prioritise workload with competing deadlines
- Professional presentational, verbal and written skills
- Demonstrate abilities to work with senior internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate experience supporting organisations to manage administrative, operational, and support functions to ensure smooth daily business operations
- Experience of supporting organisations to achieve organisational goals
Desirable:
- Experience of working with trustees and groups of volunteers.
- Project management experience.
- Experience of partnership development.
- Experience of supporting multiple stakeholders and prioritising delivery.
- Experience of being the conduit between different departments, providing support and solutions to help meet shared business objectives.
