Bradford International Film Festival is seeking volunteers across venue operations, photography and social media

Bradford International Film Festival will take place from 23 to 25 October 2026. Across the 3 day festival, a minimum 1 day commitment is required.

Whether you’re passionate about film, logistics, or event management, there’s a place for you to shine. Gain hands-on experience, make new friends, and immerse yourself in the world of cinema.

Available roles:

• Venue Volunteers
• Event Photography Volunteers
• Social Media Volunteers

Venue Volunteers: will be helping out in festival operations. This will include a variety of tasks, including: scanning film tickets, handing out programmes, signposting audiences, assisting in filmmaker q&a’s, and being a point of contact for audience questions.

Event Photographers: will be responsible for capturing the festival throughout. We will have a roaming camera at each location to use, or you are welcome to bring your own! Your work will be credited on our website, and in any publication use.

Social Media Assistants: Capturing photos and video content of the events for the BRADIFF social media channels. Capturing short interviews with filmmakers and guests throughout.

Bradford International Film Festival will be based in Bradford Arts Centre, within Bradford City Centre. Please bear travel in mind when considering applying for this role.
