BPS Assessment Author

BPS Assessment is looking for registered doctors or pharmacists, currently in clinical practice with experience of working with foundation-level prescribers in the NHS, to join its authoring team.

Authors are responsible for writing and reviewing prescribing education questions in the eight Prescribing Skills Assessment (PSA) item styles, following the house style guide and PSA blueprint, in line with standard UK practice and BNF/NICE guidance.

Authors should be able to commit to around 10 hours per month.

Remuneration: £35 - £105 per question completed and accepted, depending on question type.

Being a BPSA author precludes involvement in writing, editing, reviewing or approving content for the national high-stakes Prescribing Safety Assessment.
