Bank Support Practitioner
Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits around your commitments? If you share our values and you’re ready for some job satisfaction, then look no further!
Our fabulous team in Greenock are on the lookout for compassionate and creative colleagues with a positive attitude to join them as Bank Support Practitioners. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work, tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.
It would be great if you hold a full UK, 'manual' driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience as the individuals we support have their own mobility cars, but this isn't a deal breaker!
Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
Join our warm and welcoming team in Greenock as a Bank Support Practitioner, providing high-quality, person-centred care when it’s needed most. You’ll cover shifts during staff leave, training or sickness to ensure high quality and consistent support. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week.
From meal prep and medication to attending appointments, activities and outings you’ll help with all aspects of daily life. You’ll also provide emotional support and help people maintain strong relationships with family and friends.
The people we support enjoy active, fulfilling lives. Their interests range from going to college, having lunch out and dancing at the disco, to watching football, visiting the Beacon Arts Centre for a show and more. With your encouragement, you’ll help them build independence, grow in confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
