Your role

  • Lead a team of Care and Support Assistants
  • Work closely with staff to provide personal care and support, helping customers build independence and confidence
  • Handle medication safely and responsibly
  • Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Promote safe practices, complete risk assessments and manage safeguarding to keep customers safe
  • Create and update electronic care and support plans

Your skills

  • Experience supervising a team
  • Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
