What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Healthcare Assistant who has:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a healthcare or hospice setting
- A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work independently within the scope of the Healthcare Assistant role
- Experience working as part of a busy multidisciplinary team
Experience in palliative care, elderly care, rehabilitation, or complex care settings would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will:
- Support registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care
- Provide compassionate personal care while maintaining patients’ dignity and comfort
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families
- Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team
- Accurately complete patient documentation and intake records
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
- Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team
