What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Healthcare Assistant who has:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a healthcare or hospice setting
  • A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work independently within the scope of the Healthcare Assistant role
  • Experience working as part of a busy multidisciplinary team

Experience in palliative care, elderly care, rehabilitation, or complex care settings would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will:

  • Support registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Provide compassionate personal care while maintaining patients’ dignity and comfort
  • Build trusting relationships with patients and their families
  • Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team
  • Accurately complete patient documentation and intake records
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team
