BFI are looking for an Audience Research & Insight Manager
BFI are looking for an Audience Research & Insight Manager to join the BFI’s Research & Statistics department on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The Audience Research & Insight Manager will lead on the delivery of an ambitious programme of audience research focussed on BFI activities in our venues and through our digital channels. They will provide insight into the impact and reach of BFI activities to a broad range of internal stakeholders and ensure that research insights are actionable, working with colleagues across departments to feed insight into more informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- To produce high quality research that supports and informs the work of the BFI, in particular the implementation of its ten year strategy
- To design and commission research projects where required and to manage these projects on behalf of internal stakeholders.
- To develop accessible and compelling ways of presenting research analysis and insight to stakeholders who may not themselves be familiar with data or the capability of research to inform and inspire business strategy.
- Work with senior stakeholders to create plans for research that integrate with and inform our strategic plans, in particular working with Senior
- Evaluations Manager to ensure a consistent approach to research and evaluation of BFI audience projects
Your skills:
- Demonstrable experience of managing high quality research projects from inception to delivery of results.Excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills, being able to advocate the use of research to those who are not necessarily research literate themselves and to clearly explain the benefits of high quality research to inform business thinking.
- Knowledge and experience of using a range of relevant data sources and ability to assess and analyse these to produce high quality information and insight.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and clear reports and presentations to those who may not be familiar or skilled at extracting insight from data and statistics.

Fixed Term Contract: 12 months maternity cover
Part Time: 4 days per week/32.75 hours (including 1 hour lunch break), Salary based on the full-time salary of £43,755 – £51,465 per annum
