Associate Teacher (Guitar)

We are looking for Associate Guitar Teachers to take on a range of teaching in schools from September 2026.

Teachers should preferably have taught, and be happy to teach, group and individual lessons to pupils from across the age range (ie academic years 2-13) and whose abilities range from beginner to grade 8. Experience of group teaching (max four per group) in a school environment and teaching on Wider Opportunities programmes is beneficial.

Teachers must be able to commit to working for 30 weeks per year (10 weeks per academic term). Ideally this work will be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays, though we can be flexible on this if required.

Rates

£29.90 per hour for standard small group instrumental tuition
£33.88 per hour for large group / whole class sessions.

Teachers are paid via PAYE and are eligible to join a Pension Scheme.
