We are seeking a lively and imaginative associate priest for the busy and exciting benefice of North Wakefield. The four churches of St Paul's Alverthorpe, St Mary Magdalene's Outwood, St Peter's Stanley and St Anne's Wrenthorpe have a range of tradition, from Modern Catholic to Evangelical, and are eager to work together while maintaining their distinctiveness. Each of the churches works actively in their local community, with a heart for sharing the good news of the Gospel and love of Christ across North Wakefield.

This role might particularly suit someone who has recently completed a curacy, but applications are welcomed from all priests! The successful candidate will receive mentoring and further training appropriate to their stage of ministry, and the opportunity to live in a fabulous house in a pleasant community in North Wakefield, with fine schools nearby, good access to the city centre and road and rail links across the North of England and further afield.

For an informal conversation about this role please contact Ven Cat Thatcher, Archdeacon of Pontefract, on 07902 102513 or at cat.thatcher@leeds.anglican.org
