We have an exciting opportunity within Sue Ryder’s People Directorate for a dedicated and driven Associate Organisational Development Business Partner to join the team.

The Associate Organisational Development Business Partner supports the delivery of organisational development (OD) priorities that strengthen organisational capability, culture, and effectiveness. Working closely with and supporting our two OD Business Partners, this role contributes to the design, coordination, and implementation of OD initiatives across key disciplines including leadership and talent development, culture, engagement, change, and team effectiveness

• Deliver and coordinate organisational development programmes by supporting design, facilitating interventions, and managing activities and resources to improve team and organisational effectiveness.
• Enable the delivery of EDI priorities by coordinating initiatives, supporting employee networks, embedding inclusive practices, and using data to track and drive progress.
• Support the implementation of the wellbeing strategy by coordinating initiatives, engaging networks, and embedding sustainable wellbeing practices across leadership and teams.

Essential Criteria
• Experience in an HR, OD, L&D, or people-related role, ideally in a complex organisation.
• Experience supporting OD initiatives (e.g. leadership, engagement, culture, or team development).
• Ability to support teams and managers to improve collaboration, performance, and ways of working.
• Experience coordinating projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with employee networks (e.g. EDI, wellbeing, coaching) and supporting delivery.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and prioritisation skills.

Desirable Criteria
• Some experience facilitating or supporting workshops, focus groups, or team sessions.
• Ability to use data and feedback (e.g. surveys, metrics) to identify themes and inform action.
• Understanding of EDI and wellbeing principles and their practical application.

For this role you will be willing and able to have a flexible approach to working and undertake ad hoc UK wide travel.
