There are two additional boarding houses forUpper School students in Pimlico and CoventGarden. The Royal Ballet School operates in locationsworldwide, including different Associate centresand venues for Intensive Courses.Across our sites, there are a total of 280 employees. It is divided into 4 stages:Junior, Mid, Senior and Advanced Associates. We believe that an essentialelement to a ballet training is having live music and having an accompanist toour classes.APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 31 March 2026ANNUAL LEAVE: All annual leave is to be takenoutside scheduled SaturdaysRelevant experience in accompanying classes in an educationalenvironment.MAIN DUTIESPERSON SPECIFICATIONThis list should be seen as illustrative rather than prescriptive;To accompany Associate ballet classes which include creative movementand national dancePersonal preparation to learn the pieces required and provide suitablemusic as required by the teacherCorrect professional etiquette and courtesy to be maintained at all timeswith pupils and staffTo support the class teacher as necessaryAny other duties that may reasonably be requested by your Line Manager.ESSENTIAL CRITERIAAbility to accompany a range of classes including classical and characterdanceGood sight-reading skillsGood communication skills with adults and young peopleAn ability and willingness to be a flexible member of the teamProfessional, courteous, well-presented and punctualEmpathy with the aims and ethos of the School.
