An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated person with vision and passion to work with young homeless people, aged 16 to 25. We are looking to appoint an Assistant Support Worker:
Assistant Support Workers will deliver a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control. Many of the young people we work with have complex needs, so great relationship building skills are essential. The Assistant Support Worker will address clients support needs, enable them to make positive life choices and ultimately empower them on their journey to independent living. They will complete day to day activities including administration and reception duties, supporting the successful operation of the Lifehouse.
They will need to confidently work on their own and as part of a team, working with a range of agencies and understanding the needs of our clients. The role involves daytime, evening, and weekend work on a rota.

The successful candidate will:
- have good written and verbal communication and I.T. skills.
- have good time management and prioritisation skills.
- have a knowledge of the main support needs of our client group.
- have a desire for continual professional development and reflection.
- have knowledge of health and safety and safe-guarding processes
- have an ability to meet our core values of Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Passion, Boldness and Compassion
