Dates broken down as follows: • Rehearsals begin: Monday 26th October 2026 • Technical and Dress Rehearsals: w/c Monday 23rd November 2026 • First Performance: Friday 27th November 2026 • Final Performance: Sunday 3rd January 2027 Fees £580.13 per week An additional uplift should Book Cover be required Relocation allowance of £249 per week (subject to Equity/UK) Hours of Work – In line with UK Theatre/Equity Agreement. About the Production The Wind in the Willows – adapted by Mark Powell, directed by Mark Babych Poop-poop! Join friends Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad on an exciting, fun-filled whirlwind adventure this festive season. Fresh out of winter hibernation and celebrating the arrival of spring, Mole discovers an unlikely friendship with newfound friend Ratty. Exploring the riverbank together, the friends soon become involved in the boastful but endearing Toad’s latest fad, which begins a chain of chaotic events. Teaming up with wise old Badger, the friends brave the wild wood and join forces to try and help save Toad and his beloved Toad Hall in time for Christmas. Featuring brand new music and clever costumes, this charming adaptation has a lot of heart! Based on Kenneth Grahame’s much-loved classic novel, audiences are invited to explore themes of friendship, loyalty, home and belonging - with some added joyous Christmas magic. The perfect alternative to pantomime over the holidays, magically captivating audiences of all ages. About the Role We are looking for an Assistant Stage Manager for Hull Truck Theatre’s upcoming production of The Wind in the Willows, adapted by Mark Powell, directed by Mark Babych. We are looking for an Assistant Stage Manager to: Assist with the smooth running of rehearsals, including marking up, • maintenance and the organization of the rehearsal spaces. • Work with the Stage Management team to manage props and furniture; sourcing, maintaining, storing, and moving. • Work on stage during performances, technical and dress rehearsals, coordinating cast and moving props and scenery as needed. • • • • • Support the Cast and Stage Management team throughout rehearsals. Cover the calling of the show should there be any DSM illness. Support the welfare of the Cast during the rehearsal and performance period. Support the Cast and Stage Management team during the touring period. Attend Production meetings as required.
