Overview
We’re looking for a committed Christian to join Foundation Church Wokingham as Assistant Pastor and Youth Work Lead. Foundation Church is part of the Advance family of churches and a member of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK.
This is a dual-focus role: supporting the pastoral life and leadership of the church, while pioneering and growing youth work across Wokingham.
You’ll work closely with the Elders in the day-to-day ministry of the church; including pastoral care, discipleship, services, and volunteer development, while also leading youth outreach, schools work, and regular youth gatherings.
You’ll build relationships with young people, lead a team of volunteers, and help shape a youth ministry that reaches both church-connected and unchurched young people with the good news of Jesus.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a committed Christian, aligned with our vision and values.
- Has experience in youth work and/or church ministry.
- Is passionate about discipling young people.
- Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Theological or specific ministry training.
- Experience in schools or community outreach.
- Preaching or teaching experience.
If you’re excited by mission, discipleship, and seeing lives transformed by Jesus, we’d love to hear from you.
