Position: Assistant (Housekeeping)
Hours: 7.50 hrs (0.20 FTE) working on a Wednesday.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,660 pro rata based on FTE of 37.5 hours per week.
(Monthly salary based on 7.50 hours per week is £411 before deductions)
Summary / overview of role:
To work within the facilities team, ensuring that cleanliness and presentation of the buildings across the site remain to a high standard at all times.
Responsibilities:
- General cleaning duties across the site maintaining a consistently high level: to include, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping down of surfaces and cleaning of toilets.
- Restocking of consumable items as and when required
- Make adjustments and minor repairs, reporting defects to management
- Follow all health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Document routine cleaning and inspection in accordance with Legionella monitoring
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks as directed by the housekeeping supervisor
- Have an awareness of areas needing extra attention
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as required
Other requirements
You will be required to wear the facilities team uniform provided in addition to the appropriate personal protective equipment for the job.
On occasions, you may be required to work additional hours or adjust your normal working pattern to support the facilities team during periods of absence, leave, or events taking place on site.

Person specification
- Sympathetic to the Vision & Values of Trent Vineyard
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
- Attention to detail, practically-minded and able to main high standards in work
- Discrete and trustworthy
- Able to use initiative or to work independently
- Approachable and good communicator
- Be of a good physical fitness standard and good general health
