UWC Mahindra is seeking a dedicated Assistant Head of Campus Infrastructure & Services.
Join our Campus Infrastructure & Services (CIS) team as an Assistant Head of CIS. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Head of CIS to coordinate the essential infrastructure and services that keep our unique hilltop campus thriving. We are looking for a professional who can balance technical oversight with empathetic people management, ensuring that our physical environment reflects the UWC ideals of peace and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the health and safety of students, faculty, employees and visitors, including medical services
- Overall responsibility for the maintenance and operation of campus infrastructure and services, including:
- Operations and maintenance of the different equipment and plants
- Repairs and maintenance of existing buildings
- Major modifications to existing buildings
- New buildings/constructions
- Overall responsibility for the operation of campus services, including:
- Facility Management
- Security
- Catering/ Cafeteria
- Facility Management
- Hospitality
- Safety and Risk Assessments
- Vendor Management: Assist in purchase and procurement on an as-required basis
- Office administration, including budget planning, preparation and control
- Supporting college events
- Liaison with local and government bodies, including Forest and Police Officials
- Statutory compliance and legal liaison
- Fulfil other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of College/CIS
- Plan, prioritise, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance
- Manage the facility Maintenance team for maximum efficiency
- Oversee all building, electrical, and water management activities of the campus
- Be responsible for preserving the good condition of the infrastructure, ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning
- Schedule preventive maintenance checks and follow-up checklists
- Maintain data of all activities/departments under you.
- Maintain historical information of all machinery and equipment on campus
- Maintain compliance with all college policies and procedures
- Teamwork, especially with the Head of CIS
