Interim Assistant Group Accountant

Location: Lincoln

Salary: up to £40k depending on experience

As Interim Assistant Group Accountant you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the Subsidiary and Joint Venture management and financial accounts, reporting on results and managing the balance sheets for all Subsidiary entities. You will be responsible for preparing the budgets and budget reporting.In addition you'll also responsible for implementing intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes for all intercompany transactions.

This role will assist in the external audit process of the Subsidiary and Joint Venture accounts, anticipating the external auditors’ requirements and demonstrating a proactive approach to preparing for the audit to ensure the accounts are signed off promptly.

What we're looking for:

• Part of fully qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Proven experience in management accounting, balance sheet maintenance and budget preparation.
• Experience working in a large accounting function.
• Technically strong, with a an excellent knowledge of UK GAAP including FRS102.
• Experience of producing Management Accounts and budgets.
