Artworks Co-Ordinator
We are seeking an Artworks Co-Ordinator to join our team in Milton. Our Artworks Co-Ordinators deliver a variety of stimulating and creative activities to help young people and adults with learning disabilities increase their confidence, to promote social inclusion, and to improve their skills.
Main responsibilities
- Encourage the people we support to participate in a wide variety of stimulating and creative activities, taking into account the people we support’s particular interests and needs.
- Delivering high quality, imaginative and stimulating programs that reflect the wants of the people we support.
- Ensure that the highest standard of personal care is provided to the people we support
- Working collaboratively with parents, people we support homes and other agencies. Promoting effective information sharing with all people involved in the people we support lives.
To be considered, it is essential that you:
- have experience of working in healthcare or the social care sector
- are aware of and have a good understanding of The Care Act
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- are able to work as part of a team but also confident at lone working
- have good planning, organisational and time management skills
- are self-driven
- have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft applications

Requirements
- Flexibility:The successful candidate will be able to offer flexibility during the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings.
- Licence:A full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Qualities:A nurturing, supportive, and patient approach with strong communication skills.
- Experience:Experience of working in healthcare/social care required, and we will value and enhance the skills you bring to the team.
- Contract requirements:This role is subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks prior to appointment.
- Right to Work:Unfortunately we are unable to offer a CoS or offer additional hours for those with an existing CoS.
