The Bishop of Durham is looking to appoint the Archdeacon of Auckland
This is an exciting opportunity for a courageous and creative spiritual leader to serve in the Diocese of Durham, supporting parishes and chaplaincies to develop ministry and mission in the context of our Diocesan Transformation Programme.
The Archdeacon of Auckland will be a mission-minded strategic thinker, with a nurturing heart, committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the growth of God’s church. Serving across urban centres, post-industrial landscapes and rural communities, they will be able to lead with spiritual maturity and sensitivity, encouraging all towards transformation and fruitfulness.
