This vacancy is for an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer (Mechatronics) based in Ramsbottom.
Mechatronics Maintenance Technicians ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost within High Value Manufacturing environments.
An Engineering Maintenance Technician requires the application of a complex blend of skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours across the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power and control systems disciplines.
The main responsibilities of an Engineering Maintenance Technician are:

Maintaining machinery and equipment.

Trouble shooting issues to maintain productivity.

Repairing faults in machinery and equipment.

Learn how to master heavy industrial machinery, ensuring it runs at peak performance while diagnosing and fixing complex issues.

Work with high-tech electrical and software systems that control the sites.

Work alongside experts, who will help find ways to improve how the company works and help implement the next generation of technical solutions.

Training to be provided

L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Foundation Competence).

L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competencies) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician.

L3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).

Year 1: Build your technical skills by attending college 5 days per week at Training 2000 in Blackburn
