This vacancy is for an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer Fitter at Airtech Nonwovens UK based in Blackburn.
The broad purpose of the occupation is to produce complex high value, low volume components or assemblies in full or part, using machines, equipment or systems, to the required specification.
As an apprentice you will learn and obtain experience in the fundamentals of both mechanical and electrical engineering, and you will have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills you have acquired so far.
key responsibilities:

Learning to read electrical drawings/diagrams.

Stematically identifying and resolving problems in our equipment, systems and processes.

Preparing work areas.

Installing and repairing electrical systems.

Testing electrical systems.

Ensuring health and safety compliance.

Maintain a safe working environment.

Carrying out initial verification and periodic inspection of electrical installations.

To conduct general housekeeping.
