Alma terrace Dental practice is a small family run surgery dental practice aiming at providing great NHS care while helping develop young staff who want a career in dental nursing or further a field like dental hygiene/therapy.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care in a dental setting.
Reporting to the lead dentist, your role will involve assisting with patient interactions, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth operations within the practice.
Your core skills in patient care will be complemented by your relevant abilities in communication, IT, and organizational skills, enabling you to effectively support both patients and dental staff.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care by assisting with dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort.

Manage reception duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.

Maintain accurate patient records and manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

Utilize IT systems for efficient communication and organization of patient data.

Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations and effective teamwork.
As a Apprentice Dental Nurse you will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18-24 month training programme.
Before taking your end-point assessment, you must achieve level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) if you have not already achieved them and can provide evidence confirming this.
