About the role
Description
Coaching 2 hours per week, Tuesday 8pm-10pm and Sundays 1pm-4pm when there are no scheduled fixtures voluntary, along with pitchside coaching at fixtures, mainly Sundays, start times vary.

As American Football Head Coach, you will be involved in supporting Team ARU with the following responsibilities:
Delivery of on pitch sessions with the club (to include taster sessions & training)
Plan sessions to meet the needs of the participants that are progressive and appropriate.
Coach the team during BUCS fixtures, that happen at the weekends.
You must read and make yourself familiar with the Coaches Handbook and understand ARU policies and procedures.
Essential requirements :
To hold a minimum of a Level 2 BAFCA Coaching Qualification.
Strong communication, motivational and leadership skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in sports coaching.
Commitment to inclusivity and student development.
Desirable:
Experience coaching competitive university teams.
A valid first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
