About the Role

Lincoln City Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Afterschool & Holiday Club Delivery Lead to coordinate and deliver high‑quality childcare and activity provision across our community programmes.

This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll lead key initiatives including Football Evolution, Active Explorers, Afterschool Clubs, and Kellogg’s Football Camps—creating fun, inclusive, and safe environments that help children thrive.

If you’re passionate about working with early years and primary-aged children, and experienced in leading childcare or sports-based provision, we’d love to hear from you.

You can read the full job description and person specification in the application pack available to download at the bottom of this page.

What We're Looking For

In this hands‑on role, you’ll lead the delivery of our afterschool and holiday childcare programmes across multiple community sites—creating safe, engaging, and inclusive environments for early years and primary-aged children. You’ll act as the lead coach on site, coordinate programmes such as Football Evolution, Active Explorers, Afterschool Clubs, and Kellogg’s Football Camps, and ensure activities are age‑appropriate, well-structured, and aligned with our standards.

We’re looking for someone with experience delivering or coordinating childcare, sports, or educational activities, who understands safeguarding and Ofsted expectations for out‑of‑school settings. You’ll be confident managing behaviour, supporting sessional staff, carrying out basic administration such as registers and communication with parents, and maintaining high-quality delivery across all sessions. Excellent communication, organisation, and a child‑centred approach are essential, with coaching or early years qualifications considered desirable.

Essential

  • Proven experience working with early years or primary-aged children.

  • Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements for out-of-school and holiday provision.

  • Experience leading or coordinating childcare, sport, or education programmes.

  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and confidence in behaviour management.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and people skills.

Desirable

  • FA coaching qualification (or equivalent).

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.

  • Experience delivering football or sport-based programmes.

  • Background in a community, school, or charitable organisation.

What We Offer

  • 23 days pro-rated holiday plus bank holidays

  • Free Lincoln City FC home league fixture tickets

  • Company pension scheme and health cash plan

  • Free onsite parking (non-matchdays)

  • CPD opportunities and team social events
