At Citizens Advice Lincoln & Lindsey, we don’t sell products—we change lives. Every single day, our team helps over 9,000 local people navigate life-changing challenges, from keeping a roof over their heads to securing the financial support they are entitled to.

We are looking for exceptional communicators from all walks of life to join our high-performing team in Lincoln.

Why this role is different:

No advice experience needed: We don’t expect you to know the law on day one. We provide a thorough, fully-funded professional training and mentoring package to make you an expert.

Real variety: No two days are the same. You will support clients face-to-face, over the phone, via email, and through webchat.

True community impact: You will be based in Lincoln providing advice and support to people who need it most across multiple channels.

An inclusive employer: We are proudly Disability Confident Committed and operate under the social model of disability.

What we are looking for:

If you have a strong desire to help people, we can teach you the rest. You are a great fit if you:

Are a sensitive listener who knows how to ask the right questions.

Are comfortable using IT, telephony systems, and multi-channel software.

Thrive in a supportive team environment where giving and receiving constructive feedback is valued.

Are adaptable, organised, and deeply committed to equality and diversity.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Empower Clients: Interview individuals to get to the root of their issues, explore options using our specialised resources, and help them take their next steps.

Maximise Income: Run benefit checks and enable clients to access emergency support.

Be a Voice for Change: Help us spot systemic local and national issues to feed into our wider campaigns for justice.

We’re Disability Confident
