St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

We are seeking a weekend Advice Line Assistant to be the frontline voice for referrals and queries to St Catherine's.

The Role:

This post is offered on a permanent, part time basis, working 15 hours per week. These hours are worked Saturday and Sunday hours from 8am to 4pm.

About You:

Are you an excellent communicator who enjoys a varied workload? Would you find it rewarding to work in a fast paced environment and make a difference when it matters most?

We are seeking an organised, motivated Advice Line Assistant, with excellent attention to detail skills, time management and organisational skills.

Advice Line Assistant role will bring:

  • Handling calls from patients, families and professionals with sensitivity
  • Providing customer service and administrative support to help operate our 365 day service
  • Keeping accurate records of all calls and ensuring confidentiality
  • Fostering positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues, supporters and the general public
