Role Overview

The primary focus of the role is to work within the admissions team, contributing to the smooth and
successful completion of the admissions process, from initial enquiry through to enrolment. This is a
key  role  that  requires  a  flexible  and  proactive  approach  to  working  practices  and  excellent
organisational  and  communication  skills.  The  successful  candidate  will  be  an  experienced
administrator  with  a  high  level  of  attention  to  detail.  They  will  be  computer  literate  (Word,  Excel,
Outlook)  and,  ideally,  have  a  working  knowledge  of  databases  such  as  iSAMS  or  Digistorm.  Some
experience in an independent school setting would be an advantage.

Responsibilities and Duties

Admissions
●  Respond to phone calls from parents and agents, taking messages as appropriate
●  Upload all new enquiries into iSAMS and obtain relevant reports and other information as required
●  Assist with arranging visits for prospective students and booking the necessary appointments with

appropriate SLT members

●  To monitor the Admissions inbox and ensure that emails are responded to in a timely fashion
●  Oversee the Weekly Prospective Visitor sheet and ensure interview rooms are arranged
●  Prepare interview sheets and share with the relevant members of SLT and chase for feedback
●  As  and  when  required  ensure  that  all  Head’s  references  and  other  relevant  paperwork  are

obtained

●  Assist with prospective family tours
●  Ensure  that  iSAMS  is  up  to  date  with  all  the  documentation  required  whether  it’s  domestic  or

international student

●  Keep up to date records of attendees for Open Mornings and Evenings with all contact details and

information on the student

●  Ensure follow up calls and emails are made post Open Mornings and Evenings in a timely fashion
●  Help to organise admissions events, liaising with other key departments across the school
●  Provide cover for Admissions and Marketing in absence of the managers

Other tasks as may be required to support the Admissions department from time to time.

Additional Information

●  This is a full time position with 22 days holiday per year, plus 8 bank holidays.

●  40 contractual hours per week, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid break each day.
