19th January 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a brand-new role and really make it your own, working at the heart of three high-profile directorates: Poppy Appeal, Fundraising and Marketing. As Administrative Support Assistant, you’ll be a trusted support to three Directors, helping them stay organised, connected and focused as they deliver some of the Royal British Legion’s most visible and impactful work. With the majority of your time aligned to the Poppy Appeal, you’ll gain invaluable exposure across all three areas and see first-hand how they come together to deliver the annual appeal, a truly unique appeal, embedded in the fabric of society and raising over £50m annually.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

If you’re an experienced administrator looking to take the next step towards becoming a PA, this role offers a genuine development opportunity. You’ll build confidence managing complex diaries, coordinating senior-level meetings, booking travel, preparing meeting materials and presentations and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, encouraged to work proactively, and supported to develop the skills needed to operate at Director level all within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

You’ll also play a meaningful part in supporting volunteers, partners and supporters, particularly around key Poppy Appeal moments and engagement activity. Working within the Royal British Legion, you’ll build strong relationships with senior leaders and fellow PAs, gaining broad organisational insight and experience that will set you up for a future PA career. For someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being one step ahead, and wants a role where their contribution genuinely matters, this is a fantastic opportunity to start the new year and grow with the role.

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there, with occasional travel to London (incl. for monthly team meetings).
