Children & Young People’s Team Admin Worker

Location: Hybrid working with the equivalent of two office days

Salary: £25,870.51 pa, £20,976.09 pro rata

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

About the role

We’re looking for an Admin Worker to join our organisation.

This is a good opportunity that will sit within the Children and Young People’s Team (CYP), to support the work of the CYP in delivering projects with young people across the city and county, which provide education about, and awareness of, healthy relationships and domestic abuse.

You’ll work in close partnership with colleagues in the CYP team who deliver the following projects:

GREAT and Equate Projects– support and deliver healthy relationship programmes within primary and secondary schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire).

Choices and Know More– support and deliver healthy relationship intervention programmes to young people within secondary schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire).

Project Horizon– a family-based intervention programme for those affected by child to parent abuse (Nottingham City)

Harmful Behaviour Intervention –one to one sessions for 16–18-year-olds displaying challenging behaviours within their own relationships (Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire).

What you’ll be doing

This role will primarily involve supporting the team with administrative tasks, facilitating smooth communication between team members and the freelancer team, and ensuring efficient delivery of healthy relationship projects in schools (Primary, Secondary and Alternative Provisions) across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

This will include:

Overseeing our booking system which includes liaising with freelancers and managing the diary.

Providing support to Equation’s Children and Young People’s workstream and team members with administrative duties.

Working alongside and supporting Equation’s Children and Young People’s Workstream with evaluation and monitoring requirements.

Being the main point of contact for freelancer sickness and absence, ensuring any required cover is arranged promptly.
