We are recruiting Activity Support Workers to provide cover across our children’s school holiday activity programmes as well as some of our weekend groups. You can choose to work:
School holidays only

Weekends only

Cover shifts for sickness / annual leave

All of the above

✨  About the Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, values-driven team supporting children to enjoy fun, inclusive activities in a caring and structured environment.
This is not just cover work. It’s about being the calm, encouraging presence that helps children feel safe, confident, and included.

🧩  What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting children during activity sessions – during school holidays and/or weekends
• Encouraging participation in games, crafts, trips, and group activities
• Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Working closely with permanent staff to ensure safe, consistent care

💛  Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be superhuman, just kind, reliable, and enthusiastic.

You might be:

• Experienced in care, education, youth work, or childcare
• A student studying health, social care, psychology, teaching, or similar
• Someone with lived experience and a genuine passion for working with children
• Calm under pressure and confident supporting children with additional needs
