Trinity College, founded in 1546 by Henry VIII, is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge, steeped in centuries of history and innovation. The beauty and size of Trinity’s historic buildings and courts attract visitors from all over the world, but, with some 730 undergraduates, 340 graduate students, over 190 Fellows and around 350 non-academic staff the College is also a thriving, modern community. It exists to give its members a rewarding, richly resourced, and intellectually inspiring place in which to pursue their education and research.

The Accommodation Office is seeking to appoint an administrator to assist with a variety of activities relating to student and Fellows’ accommodation. The post holder will play a key role in the day-to-day duties of the office which includes collecting, monitoring and updating data relating to the occupation of College rooms, ordering and programming electronic access cards and maintaining room bookings using Kinetics.

Applicants should have previous experience working in a busy office environment and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, strong organisational and communication skills, good time-management and an eye for detail are essential. An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of current GDPR is also required. Previous use of Kinetics would be desirable.

Salary £29,276 per annum. Trinity College prides itself on being a friendly employer which offers competitive rates of pay and terms and conditions. This is a full-time role (36.25 hours per week with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break) however we are pleased to accept applications from candidates seeking a part-time opportunity no less than 30 hours per week with salary pro rata.
